Our Commitment to Performance - Purpose and Values

Our purpose is to make the kind of impact that both matters and makes a tangible difference. Founded on values of honesty, integrity, transparency and trust our focus is to go into organisations help them achieve their expected outcomes, include some measurable added value and then to exit through a controlled plan leaving them and their team in a stronger, and much more sustainable position.

We do this by listening and hearing, by watching and by checking out a range of data points. The difference we make can be measured through improved internal dynamics and agreed outcomes. Using a fresh approach to owning and delivering a culture of accountability and trust, the sort that provides a real return on investment through effective and efficient decision making.

Ethics and Integrity: Our conduct and accountability have earned us trust from clients, partners and peers and the communities within which we work and contribute to. We stand firm by our commitment of integrity and our shared accountability.

Without compromise we will do the right thing even when nobody is looking. We will support speaking up and will demonstrate integrity and accountability. Maintaining the trust of our clients and Regulators and of the wider community matters to us.

Local and wider society and environment: We believe that through our undertakings we can make a positive difference to the lives of the people we work with, and the communities and environments we move in and are a part of. De’Leigh actively contributes a percentage of all takings to local, national or international charities chosen by the clients.

Our “Because We Can” Promise focuses on a number of initiatives that improve the lives and life chances of people and communities. Through the improvement of health and education, access to clean water and access to otherwise “having to pay for professional services” we often work Pro-Bono. We do this “because we can”.

Our Commitment to Human Rights: Everybody is born free with dignity and rights; our commitment is laid out through our Dignity and Respect at Work Statement. This statement affirms our approach to the way we treat our colleagues, clients and those we come into contact with through our work.

Lead by Example: By choice and not design we work with integrity, we will make strong choices, we will make bold decisions, and we do it in a way that is person and organisationally centred. We are committed to creating value through the promotion of equity and opportunity.

Inclusion: We listen, watch, and we celebrate and respect the diverse and ever changing immediate and wider world that we live in and contribute to. We believe that only by working together can we strengthen relationships and promote a positive culture of inclusion, ensuring everybody’s voice is not just included to make up the numbers but is actually heard.

We will challenge the barriers, attitudes and biases that prevent good and proper practice from taking place, imparting the opportunity to improve and develop. We will not tolerate any act of direct or indirect discrimination, or abusive behaviour, and, if faced with this behaviour we reserve the right without question to cease or to end with immediate effect the client contract.

Collaboration: Teamwork matters, nobody can work effectively in isolation, we deliver meaningful impact and to do this means that we may also call on associate industry specific and knowledge-based colleagues, in order to achieve client commercial outcomes. We are “Better Together”.

We care: We care about each other, about our clients, and about the wider community, we actively help to develop, build and maintain relationships that provide those much-needed layers of resilience, and we do that in ways that are respectful and empathetic.

Governance: We remain true to our purpose and values. Good governance is our foundation for delivering our promise to clients and wider community. It promotes good business practice, it drives and protects trust, it supports integrity and determines the company we keep.

For our key stakeholders: In running a sustainable, and accountable business we manage risks responsibly and ethically.

For our immediate and extended colleagues: We work inclusively and equitable in manner, we promote, and check in on issues of safety and wellbeing, we encourage and support professional development and opportunities for career advancement.

For our clients: We will work hard to serve our clients; we provide them with the highest level of quality and strategic thinking so to enable them to be the best that they can be.

For our communities: We work to be a valued part of the community within which we operate, to take care of it in the best way that we can, and to lead and listen by example. We will fight actively for those unable to fight effectively for themselves.

For the wider society: We will always act in the public interest, we will always fight against corruption, we will always protect our environment and work to support those who themselves want to improve their lives through education and health opportunities.
