Noreen Metcalf: Founder and Director  


With a background in health, safety, governance and regulatory compliance and employment relations Noreen gained BSc. in Safety, Health, and Environmental Management, before going on to become a longstanding Fellow of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute. Developing her career and professional reputation across public, private, and not for profit health and social care sectors, following a serious landmark whistleblowing case  Charity Whistleblower Triumphs in Landmark Employment Tribunal Case – Legal Lens  Noreen has turned the experience on its head to be able to share the learning and positive outcomes. Building organisational culture and a behavioural climate where people can actively raise issues and concerns with assurance and a psychological safety that sees whistleblowing as opportunity for learning and development. Noreen drives the entrepreneurial ethos of a practice founded on strong ethical, social, and environmental values. 


Duncan has an extensive and significant knowledge base stretching over 30 years in the application and the integration of safety, health, and environmental management practices.


With the added benefit of designing and constructing lean management and continuous improvement systems that deliver, both: sustainable business performance and operational improvement. Utilising both top down and bottom up approaches so as to deliver successful culture change, across a variety of complex and diverse environments.

 

Formerly Duncan worked at Leeds Beckett University as a Course Leader and Senior Lecturer in Safety, Health and Environmental Management; providing support, delivery and module design across a wide range of taught subjects. With a strong work ethic, Duncan delivered both successful and significant measurable outcomes, both for the students and for the university.

Mehreen works with drive, intent and purpose. Leaving a lasting impact.  A specialist in HR management and with wide experience as a Director of People in the charity sector and private HR Consultant with a portfolio of private clients, leading on  all aspects of human resources and recruitment for the UK operations, ensuring compliance with UK policies and practices.

Experience of working with a i) US SaaS tech scale up, managing the UK people infrastructure from scratch, while working with the US team on harmonisation of benefits and PTO ii) Australian fintech merger and acquisition, managing their UK HR workflow.


Key to delivery is her ability to  influence and shape a positive and inclusive work culture, support growth and development of employees and leaders.


An amazing mum Merheen is also a Deputy Chair and Chair of a subcommittee for a charity and a committed  advocate for social justice and equality.

Mental Health First Aider and Trainer

Cath Kennedy has worked as a workplace communication coach in Europe and the City of London, as a foster carer, and taught in Higher Education. She now delivers Mental Health First Aid, Sexual Harassment prevention, and related courses online and in person throughout the UK while taking care of the administration of our open courses. Cath draws on a wealth of experience of course and syllabus design, and delivery of skills-focussed training to help organisations and individuals get the full benefits of training.
